Where to find pluggable 2.54mm terminal blocks?

I've been looking for pluggable 2.54mm terminal blocks (screw terminals) for some time now, but haven't had any luck at all. Finding 2.54mm blocks with a male pin for soldering is no problem, but the same product with a female connector seems almost impossible to find. My idea is to connect these directly onto the arduino and components for a more rigid build without having to solder. Does anyone have any experience of this product and know where to order it in Europe I'd be very happy! Thanks!

I am surprised that you can find 2.54mm pitch blocks with pins as that would mean that the screw terminals are very close together. Are you sure that the pins are spaced 2.54mm apart and not a multiple of that ? Can you please give a link to an example product ?

I may have misunderstood what you are looking for but is it something like this ?
http://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/pcb-terminal-blocks/8029040/ but with a smaller pin pitch ?

You mean these?

Something like this?

Or you could just remove the header strips from an Arduino and put 2.5mm screw terminals instead. Or get a Pro mini and put some on that...

Yes, thanks.

@UKHeliBob
These are the ones i bought:

but as you can see, these have a male pin head. I would like a female one instead, but cant find any...

@fungus
I already got the screw shield for the arduino board. My idea was to use the terminal blocks for sensors, actuators, relays etc which often have male pin heads. Would be a really neat way of building something rigid without the hassle of soldering.

Any more tips? Perhaps it doesn't exist?

Something like this (click !) ?

The link is not function correctly. Do have a article number for the website so I can search for it myself?

I don't know what you're really after.

The white ones are IDC (Insulation Displacement Connection) Needs a cheap tool.
Molex version are easy to daisychain ( for power distribution)
Accepts 0,22 mm2 wire.
There are a special pinconnector but it's not necessary, normal 2,54 headerpins works.

The green ones made by Degson (China) they have spring clamp, very easy to connect with a small screwdriver or a paperclip
They are 2,5 mm NOT 2,54, but it works with 4 pole (I also have 10 pole but it is a little bit tight)
They also have a pin connector but it works with headerpin.
