ws2812 led strips 5 meter addressable?

Does anyone have a fritzing diagram or can tell me how to connect a 5 meter addressable 300 LED strip to a Arduino Uno. I have a 12 v power supply, do i need capacitors / resistors? And in the future how could i connect another lot of 5 meter strips. Thanks The LED strip is 5v

You cannot connect a 5V LED strip to a 12V power supply.

Also every WS2812B uses 60mA. For 300 LEDs you need a quite beefy 5V power supply.

With a proper power supply you might want to connect the strip like this:

In fact this turns out to be 18 Amps!

So even regulating your 12V supply down is going to be expensive and tricky. Basically you have bought the wrong power supply.

Yes but better would be greater than 18A because running any component or system at its full rating is bad, always derate by about 20%.
