X27 stepper motor control schematic

Hi All,

I have an old car i am restoring (1972) and having had two of the same model before i know very well that the gauges (in 1994) where VERY inaccurate with the RPM and speedometer wafting about wildly offering only the vaguest of indication to speed of the engine and road speed.

In the interim 20 odd years and barn/loft storage they have gotten only worse and i want to replace them with an ardiuino (nano i suspect) and X27 steppers designed for gauges like this.

I have found this schematic which is workable but i want nice integrated PCB (I used to design PCBs for a living but VERY specialised schematics that taught me almost nothing about electronics).

Is there a schematic for the Easydriver board that i can integrate into my PCB design rather than a daughter board?

There is driver chip you can buy for the x-27 and will probably work better than your easy driver .
AX1201728SG , quad driver ic .
Mentioned by me on here before , so worth a search ( there was a long thread on x27 switchtec motors )

BTW “wandering” speedo/rev counters can be fixed - often the drive cable is worn or goes through a tight bend . Originality might be important to you ???
