Hello,
Light blinks when I plug in (and I get an error message when trying to upload Servo sketch) on my Elegoo Mega 2650 R3.
Any ideas how to fix this?
(Windows 10 machine, fyi)

The light is probably meant to blink. It might help if you tell us what the error message is.
Usually the Arduinos come with the blink sketch preloaded. So the blinking of the L led is normal.
Which operating system?
Which IDE version?
Anything happening in Windows device manager (or linux/mac equivalents) when connecting/disconnecting the board?
And obviously, as asked above, the error message.
