hello, if i am building a watch or a clock using a real time module, do i need a crystal oscillator? i read about it and it says that i gives a steady frequency. is it necessary if i want to build a clock? and if so how do i connect it? thanks
Some do, DS1307 for example. 32.768 KHz,

Some have internal oscillator, DS3231, DS3234 for example.
I2C or SPI interface, depends on the part.
i dont think i have that, here is a picture of my real time module ...where should i connect them?
That module already has a crystal resonator installed on it, you need not another one.

Oh? cool! which one is it??
