33IOT and J-Link OB ---- VCOM not working

Hello,

I have set up my 33IOT to work with J-Link OB Clone. I can upload sketches through J-Link and debug. The problem is that the VCOM (Virtual com port) is not working.

The VCOM port shows up on windows device manager but the 33IOT cannot connect to it or send any data.

Any ideas how I can fix this?
Or is this a limitation on the IOT33 where the com port only works through USB connector and not the debug connector.
