This is a 3DOF desktop class crane made by Makeblock parts. The maker is Harry. He used a smart link mechanism to transfer the rotary motion to linear motion.

The structure is very easy to create. This is the part list.

Nice.
Most interesting part to me is the way you are controlling the 'travelling crab', the part that moves the hook/load horizontally.
