Hi guys,First off. Sorry if this is in the wrong section,It's my first time actually using this forum.
I'm looking for some guidance, I'm hoping to make a prop airsoft bomb. I'm looking to have 3 wires coming out of the prop and all have to be cut in a certain order to disarm it. If one wrong wire is cut then the bomb detonates (or speeds up the timer not sure how much difficulty this would add)
I'm hoping to have a key switch to power up the device so the players cant just switch it off.
I've seen one like this many years ago at an older airsoft site, they had a sheet of pre established disarming procedures which told the player which wire to cut.
EG: The bomb prop would have a button, you push the button and it would give a number between 1-3
you then look at the sheet and see what the combination of wires is for that number.
Do you guys think this would be an easy project? I've never actually made anything with Arduino before but I have quite a bit of experience and interest with electronics and technology in general so I would be interested starting with something like this.
If you have any advice or ideas which may help me out, please let me know. Thank you
Yeah, sounds pretty straightforward to do - there are examples of using displays, and a wire that you cut is just a very crude switch. Make sure it's clearly not a real bomb, obviously.
