Arduino cloud agent 1.7.0 not working in windows 10

After install of the arduino cloud agent 1.7.0 in my windows 10 the agent crash . no way to work with the IDE cloud. I search for a solution and found that installing the arduino cloud agent build 1.3.4 it works and is stable in my environment. I use arduino cloud since 2025 withot any problem since now.
Where can i get the stable build ?

i installed the build 1.3.4 and it's the same :frowning:

In that case I do not know. I only answered the specific part of your opening post.

That is a pretty good indication that the agent is not the problem. You could try booting into 'safe' mode to prove that. You may need to send the crash report to Microsoft for resolution, but it could be quicker to just start removing items from your start-up.

the problem disapears after changing to Microsoft Edge Browser. The arduinocloudagent stable and running as expected. Thanks

Which browser were you using before?

It sounds like the issue may be related to the Windows environment rather than only the Cloud Agent version. Checking startup programs, security software, and background services could help identify if something is causing the crash. It may also be worth checking the Windows Event Viewer logs after the crash, as they can sometimes show which component is failing.

Google Chrome. But i used it before without any problems

i know we can always make troubleshooting but , app, programs or agents must display error messages to help debbugging.

I see you already found a workaround (nice work!), but in case you or others reading this topic are interested in obtaining error messages from Arduino Cloud Agent, I'll provide instructions for doing so:

  1. If Arduino Cloud Agent is running, terminate it by clicking the Arduino icon in the Windows "notification area" and then selecting "Quit Agent" from the menu.
  2. Right click the Windows "Start" button.
    A context menu will open.
  3. Select "Search" from the menu.
The Windows "Start" menu will open with a search field selected.
  4. Type windows powershell ise in the search field.
  5. Select "Windows PowerShell ISE" from the search results.
A "Windows PowerShell ISE" window will open.
  6. Type the following command in the Windows PowerShell ISE window:
    & "$Env:APPDATA\ArduinoCloudAgent\Arduino_Cloud_Agent.exe" 2>&1 | Out-String -Stream; if (-not $?) {& "$Env:APPDATA\ArduinoCreateAgent\Arduino_Create_Agent.exe" 2>&1 | Out-String -Stream}

  7. Press the Enter key.

Arduino Cloud Agent will now print logs to that Windows PowerShell ISE window as it operates. You can examine the content of that window to get information related to any problems with the application, such as the crash you encountered.
