Arduino MKR1000 Serial Port Not Recognised/Shown on Mac OS Sierra

Hi guys,

I recently got an Arduino MKR1000 and unfortunately I can't upload any sketches at all or even use it due to the serial port not showing up on my mac.

I am running Mac OS Sierra 10.13.3 and so far this is what I have tried after hours of research:

  • Different cables.
  • Installing a CH340 Driver (My Arduino is genuine and not Chinese but I gave this a go anyway).
  • Deleting and reinstalling latest FTDI Drivers from Future Technology.

This is frustrating and I would greatly appreciate if anyone could solve this for me!
