Arduino Opta PLC IDE - stuck when try to connect

Hello, this is my first time using this so there is perhaps something I missed, thus the question.
I have the Opta together witht he expansion AFX00005 connected, powerred on with 12VDC 100mA power supply.
When I connect to Arduino IDE I can upload sketechs and it works , tested on several examples from the library.
When I start the PLC IDE I do the Manual skecth download, I get the new COM port and then when I want to connect to the PLC I either get an error in the down right bottom of the UI or the program stop reacting.
I have tried to install the Mbed libraries through Arduino IDE, i did the partitioning, I have tried the original port COM12 and the new one COM14, I have treid to put the PLC into bootloader and do manul sketch download again but nothing works.
I have also tried to swap the USB-c ports on my PC, I tried an totaly different PC with new isntallations, I swapped out the USBC cable itselfs.
Might it be the PLC core in the Arduino is broken?
Thanks!

Hi @haaantr ,

Check out this thread. I believe it’s what you need.

I just went through this myself. There is a specific partition scheme for PLC IDE 1.0.8 that you need to download near the bottom of this page: https://support.arduino.cc/hc/en-us/articles/16206977438748-Reset-the-flash-memory-on-STM32H747-based-devices
