What carrier(s) does the Arduino SIM use in the US?
I want to use a MKR1500 NB in a rural area in which the only good coverage is supported by Veriszon.
Does the Arduino SIM support Verizon?
Thanks
Bruce

Because most carriers are phasing out 2G and 3G service, SIM modules that do work in the U.S. will shortly no longer work. Verizon might support that module until the end of 2022, but no longer.
There do not yet seem to be many, if any, comparable offerings for 4G.
That is why I never purchased the MKR1400 and bought the MKR1500.
So the Arduino SIM does not cover 4G?
Thanks
Bruce
Check the specs, and whether the frequency bands it covers coincide with U.S. bands.
Just so it is clear what is being discussed here, the "Arduino SIM" is a SIM card:
They do, it meets NB-IOT and M1.
That is what I am trying to discuss. But 3G in North America is pointless as it will be turned off this year. So the question is does the SIM support 4G in North America and if so what carriers?
Thanks
Bruce
The Arduino/4G question has come up a few times in the forum, and this is the first time that a 4G SIM module has been mentioned that might work in the U.S.
It would be great to get a definitive answer as to whether the MKR 1500 is indeed supported by U.S. carriers. It does appear that a few of the Verizon LTE bands are compatible with it.
