Arduino Uno Driver Issues

Hey,
So I got an Arduino Uno today and (i am using Windows 7 64 bit) i plugged it into my computer. It said "Driver not found" so i thought that everything was okay but when I went to update the drivers, it did not let me select that option ("Update Drivers"). The button for it was gray and therefore I could not connect to a COM port and test programs.
I noticed that the ATMEGA chip was slightly out of place and so I used a screwdriver to push it back in but still that did not work.
It would be of great help if anybody could answer this :D.

Thanks.

P.S. Why is Arduino IDE 1.0 extremely laggy?

Hey thanks for responding quickly. The problem with the link is when I plug my arduino into my computer, under the ports all it shows are usb bluetooth ports.

below the ports look in the Universal Serial Bus controllers and see if there is something listed there that could be the uno that needs drivers.

Well I checked under the USB Controllers and here is what showed up:

Generic USB Hub
Generic USB Hub
Intel(R) 5 Series/3400 Series Chipset Family USB Enhanced Host Controller - 3B34
Intel(R) 5 Series/3400 Series Chipset Family USB Enhanced Host Controller - 3B3C
USB Composite Device
USB Root Hub

Im not sure which one has to do with the Arduino (I'm new to this stuff)

Thanks

Unplug the UNO, go to the arduino driver's folder, right click on Arduino UNO.inf, and select install. Install, then reboot and then see if the board is recognized when it is plugged in.
