It's an Arduino uno r3 the chip says Atmel mega 16U2. Everytime I connect it to my windows 10 laptop it says unknown device no longer links to my Arduino ide. The USB cable is working and the Arduino green light is on , this is the website I got it from Amazon.com. Anyone has a resolution to solve this?
When you say “ no longer “ , do you mean it has worked in the past and you haven’t changed anything ?
Anything connected to the Arduino ? Anything on pins 0,1 ?
Different USB lead ( just because you get a light doesn’t mean it’s ok )?
What has changed ?
( the address you give for purchase looks correct , so looks genuine uno)
