Arduino video camera recommendation

Hello,

I would like to know if there are easy to use video cameras that can communicate with Arduino. I'd like to buy one but I don't know what to search for. I've found something on kickstarter but I want your opinions too.

The data rate from a video camera is far greater than the arduino can handle. You need a more powerful processor

Thank you, I was't sure about this, I thought arduino could hanlle a simple camera.

I stumbled upon it by accident, it's called JeVois.
I own an ov7670 camera but I find it hard to connect and not really worth it.

I was hoping arduino could help with small cameras. I want to put one on a train on my model layout and see what it would look like to see the scenery from that perspective.

2.8GHz video senders are very cheap and tiny (I have some about 2cm square, and about 5mm thick) and typically have selectable channels, barely larger than a 600 line analogue camera and lens.

I don't know what you think think an Arduino might bring to your party.

Because of the huge mismatch in processor bus width, clock speed and memory available.

Something like that, I'd guess, at least for starters.

You can get a video stream from an USB web-camera on Arduino DUE (gray scale only though). However, IMO this is a project for an advanced Arduino user only:
