Hi,

I tried everything that I could dig up unsuccessfully to integrate the Attiny85 chip. I was able to load the Arduino as ISP sketch once I removed the capacitor between ground and 5 volts. I was able to install the Attiny files. I included a screen shoot of the files installed and the error message I received once I select Attiny85 with Arduino as ISP. Any advice would be appreciated. If buying the USBTinyISP programmer from Adafruit would make this easier I will gladly do so. I am using a Arduino Mega, and a Surface Pro 3, with Arduino version 1.6.4

The core you've installed is not compatible with v 1.6.x, as far as I can tell.

Use a core that is, like the one linked in my sig (second one - that one supports the 85 and just about every other ATtiny that isn't supported by the other core in my sig :stuck_out_tongue: )
