I found this guide to motor selection, which may help users deciding what type of motor is best for their project..
Nice!
Maybe add some about servo motors?
A servo motor is typically a brushed DC per-mag motor (DC hobby servos)
A ‘servo’ itself isn’t a ‘motor’ but a ‘closed loop’ control system to perform a specific function.
In this case motor shaft positioning.
Your point is acknowledged, perhaps you can add a paragraph on how commonly available hobby - R/C servos work internally. It would be informative for a lot of beginners and hobbyists to understand their components.
Maybe in a few years or months .
Still learning about them.
I think a saw an article about how servos work(down to the guts!).
Pardon me if I have incorrectly used servo and servo motor.
I know that there is a difference but I don't know what it is.
Found this article:
For RC cars though.
Will work.
What is a "Coreless DC motor", compared to a standard DC motor?
