I have a 12 volt battery that i’m linking to my breadboard (when I get one). If I use a Arduino breadboard, would the output voltage still be 12 volts? I am using no resistors, just plain jumper wires.
My LED lights require 12 volts to operate, so I need to make sure the breadboard can output 12 volts before I order it.
Solderless breadboards will work with 12V. They will not work, well, with too much current. I would not put more than about 500mA through good quality breadboard contacts. Cheapo Chinese breadboards, less. Do not force large wires into the holes. I have some breadboards that are over 40 years old and they still work fine.
