I am using an ATMega 328p with an external oscillator(the one used in UnoR3) of 16MHz at a 3.3V. I want to know if a current of 50mA would be enough for it. I am also using the average HW-040 OLED display with it, 2 buttons and an encoder.
I tried to look up in the electrical characteristics section of the datasheet but there are many parameters and adding every current I see there seems inappropriate. Can someone tell me how can I calculate the needed current based off the datasheet characteristics?
I would not spend my time trying to calculate it.
For a real world figure, I would measure the current consumption with a multi meter.
Measure it using a multimeter.
That is outside the spec of the 328P.
How is it outside since I am using an external oscillator like the one used in R3?
