Can I Log mA cunsumtpion of a device?

Dear community, I have a DC powered device that I need to take accurate readings of its mA - μA consumption every second (or less or more) and then find out its total consumption in a window of one hour. Is it possible to make such a logger using any Arduino board/setup?

Many thanks in advance.

You can buy one of these

or build a custom PCB.

Thank you jim-p for the suggestion! The device will be powered by a 2.4V source, do you think such an option is out there (or can be made with Arduino) ?

That rules out the device I suggested.

do you think such an option is out there

Possibly but nothing I could personally recommend

You might have a look at INA228, it can do mA and depending on your shunt you can have an LSB of about 10 uA

The INA228 avoids these limitations, and with the precision 15milliohm shunt resistor on board, it can be used to measure as much as +85V at up to 10A (~10uA per LSB) or 2.75A (~2.5uA per LSB) Continuous on either the high or low side . Wow!
