Can I supply my PCA9685 with 12V DC to run 12 servos?

I'm using a PCA9685 Servo Shield to run 12 servos, but I don't know what voltage should I need to use to power up those servos

Did you read, study and understand the data sheet of the PCA9685 Servo Shield, didn´t you?

You can just say 'Yes' or 'No', instead of being sarcastic

It's also not polite to ask others to do your work for you. I Googled "PCA9685 Servo Shield" and found the answer in a few clicks in case it was obscure or missing. We enjoy helping, but your question makes it appear like you didn't do any of your own research.

up to you

You are supposed to supply links to datasheets. Please read this link: How to get the best out of this forum - Using Arduino / Project Guidance - Arduino Forum

Mr. @paulpaulson not being sarcastic at all.

He helps "millions" of users here on the forum and I believe he is already tired of seeing people come here without first doing a web search or even showing that he tried to read technical documentation and didn't understand.

Do an empathy exercise.

Stay here for 3 months helping people with difficulties and you will understand his message.

The power connector of a PCA9685 servo board/shield has nothing to do with the PCA9685 chip.
That screw terminal is only connected to the supply pins of the servos, nothing else.
Leo..

Check the servo data sheets or product page. 6V and 7.4V are popular. 12V is not common.

Paul has been on this forum for as far back as I can remember. I have seen a lot of great answers from him especially when he is given the needed information.

Users need to understand many members such as Paul devote a lot of time and resources to solving other people's problems at no charge. Paul I believe myweakhero was offended and will not answer the question or is not capable of answering it.

I would not answer the question as there is not enough information but then again the person posting "myweakhero" probably has no clue as to what he/she is doing. This may be the first exposure to "datasheet".

I am not angry.

I just keep asking myself why it is so difficult for non-experts to acquire the necessary knowledge from data sheets.

What servo voltage does the seller say you need ?

Give a WEB link to the servos.

It may be simple, they do not know they exist or cannot understand what they read. If they could do that we would have a lot of time to watch TV or something
