Can some one please help me with buying a resistor and capacitor for a esp32 tutorial

Can somebody help me with this little problem?
I bought two ESP32 boards to make a music visualizer that i found on you tube, and so far it seams putty easy however i got stuck
when they asked to use two 10k resistor and one 100NF non-polar capacitor for the project audio line in.
the problem is that they dont specify the voltage for this capacitor and resistor, and im afraid to buy the wrong one and damage my board, since i`m a beginner and this is my first project, can one of you guys be so kind to tell me the right specification of the two components to buy.
video of the project

thank you so much

Welcome to the forums. Unfortunately, you posted in the wrong one. Your question has nothing to do with "Introductory Tutorials" and much more to do with "Project Guidance"

You can edit your post and move it to a more appropriate forum.

As for what to buy, resistors do not have an associated voltage. They are rated as to how many watts they can handle. For your application any cheap 1/4W 10k resistor will do (10% tolerance)

For your capacitor a 25V or 50V 100nF ceramic capacitor will work just fine

Resistors are not specified by voltage, they are specified by resistance and wattage and tolerance.
Caps are specified by capacatance, voltage and tolerance.
You have not told us what the resistor nor capacitor are to be used for so how do we know how to tell you anything for sure?

That said, most resistors used for hobby stuff are low power so 1/4 watt 5% or 10% resistors should be sufficient. And most ceramic caps are 25V or more so any 0.1uF and 25V or better and any tolerance should work.

But, like I said we can't give a definite answer until we know the end use for sure.

Hi Mr, blh64.
First sorry for posting this on the wrong place, i will delete this post after this.
and thank you so much for your answer i was going crazy with this today , i have been posting this all over the place. but you already answered my question tank so much. i do appreciated

Please don't, I have moved it to an appropriate forum section.

We like keeping old posts here because if you have a problem, then it is sure others will have the same one.

thank you, Mr groundFungus. your answer already put me in the right track to start the project.
these two resistor and capacitor are gonna be used to connect a sound line-in to the esp32 music visualizer. it a tutorial i found on youtube, they just specified the capacitor as 100nf capacitor no-polar, and the resistor as 10k resistor or 470R. the link for the project is here ESP32 AUDIO SPECTRUM ANALYZER - YouTube
but i think with the information that you and Mr. blh64, gave me is enough to get me going.
thank you so much for you help, i do appreciated

ok , thank you you guays and sorry again for posting in the wrong section
