Brand new to Arduino. Using the cloud IDE but unable to see port selection. I assume it is because I cannot install CreateAgent. When I try to install "Create agent" on my Macbook Pro (Monterey 12.5.1), I can download it but when I click the installer I get the error: You can’t open the application “ArduinoCreateAgent-1.2.7-osx-amd64-installer-chrome” because it is not responding.
Also, if I then try to restart the Mac I get the message "failed to restart because AurdinoCreateAgent failed to quit"
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Are you using the Chrome browser?
Yes. I am using chrome.
You can try the following solution

Try force quitting it by clicking the apple logo in the upper left corner.
Then click force quit and the Arduino Create Agent Installer.
You should be able to restart now.
