Can't upload code to Arduino 16Mhz\5V-328 Mini Pro

I have just got my new Mini Pro
I have connected my FTDI cable - and try to upload "blink" code
but i get error
why is it?

this is a brand new board

do I ahve to do something before?
the FTDI cable is working ( I use it on my all Arduino ethernet that I have)

I made a mistake - the cable didn't touch the board..............
