CE declaration

Hi all!

I want to use an arduino board for a public project, but i cannot find any kind of CE declaration anywhere on the net. My problem is that, due to beuraucracy, i will not be able to use an arduino for my purpose, unless the directors see some kind of CE declaration, or assurance that the product complies with safety rules.... Any ideas?

Have you looked at the back of your Arduino?

But it might be one of these.... I don't see a CE on there.

?' ve seen that, but what i need is a document that states that the product has passed some tests and so on. Or just a CE declaration of conformity by the manufacturers. Because the CE sign doesn't say anything, it is usually placed by the manufacturers.

You want a statement by the manufacturer that says that they are entitled to display the CE logo? The presence of the logo isn't an adequate statement?

Ah. Now, I understand.

Have you tried contacting the Arduino team directly?

If you own an official Arduino board and you believe it is defective, please email support (at) arduino.cc specifying the model, serial number, version of the operating system you use and version of the Arduino software.

That's where I'd start.

Thanks! I did it allready!
