Changing the display type in a sketch

Hello everyone! I want to make a signal strength indicator (SSI Meter). But the display on the SSD 1306 controller is too small. I want to replace the display with an SSD 1305 because it's too big. But there's a problem. The SSD 1306 library contains the operator SSD1306_INVERSE. But the SSD 1305 doesn't have this operator. What should I do?

Welcome to the forum

The Adafruit SSD1305 library has an SSD1305_INVERTDISPLAY function and an example with the library shows how to use it

  // invert the display
  display.invertDisplay(true);
1 Like

Maybe this can be done using the ADAFRUIT_GFX library. But I'm just a beginner. I'm having trouble with this line. The SSD1305 display doesn't support INVERSE.

 display.fillRect(i, 21, 2, 8, SSD1306_INVERSE)

There's no need to invert the entire display. Just the selected area with the specified coordinates.
