Ship style radar display

I'm trying to come up with a way to display a ship style radar display, I want to display it on a mini oled screen in an RC Lifeboat

thanks for this, i'm having trouble with height error code any ideas

It is looking for height of 64.

#if (SSD1306_LCDHEIGHT != 64)

The code says to adjust the library file...

so I've been sent this file by someone (GitHub - labomat/Radar-Simulator: Simulated vintage radar screen for model boats), but when i try to verify the file it comes up with the following error

exit status 1

Compilation error: #error ("Height incorrect, please fix Adafruit_SSD1306.h!");
i did google a fix for this but its saying correct something in line 72-75 but the example they give is different to my version, my version seems to have more text and code in those lines

Please post the sketch here, using code tags when you do

I'm a complete noob here, I'm surprised I managed to get it into the ide program :pensive::grinning: give me a clue

Does this discussion help:

Hi, @Paulcobra

To add code please click this link;

Thanks.. Tom.. :smiley: :+1: :coffee: :australia:

Right there.

is it just that line i need to change or the following ones too

That's the line you don't want.

It would be easier to read if you'd used code tags.

Which display do you have?
2:1 aspect is a bit odd for a radar display, no?

i have a few different ones, not sure yet which size will look best in my RC Lifeboat,
0.96" tft 2 of
0.9 x 1.3" OLED
1.77" tft

Isn't it a question of which one the code is written for?

scale wise i'm hoping to use either the 0.9" square or the 0.9 x 1.3"

I posted the question of if it were possible to do and I was sent this program via PM

Your newly opened duplicate topic has been closed

Why did you start a second topic on the same subject ?

Because I'm stupid and don't know what I'm doing and people are obviously getting annoyed that I haven't inputted my question and code like an expert

They would have been even more annoyed had I let the other topic stand
