Chooseing the right cable for Arduino

I have those two usb to mini usb cable for Arduino Nano. Both working.
The arduino will need to work 24/7 for 4 months sending data over serial to Pi.

I was wondering which cable will have less chance to make an issue along the way (meaning stopping to transmitting the data)

The black cable have some round thingy on one of is ends. Is it a type of low pass or high pass filter? Does it matter to have it on the cable?

Could be any difference between the two cables or I'm just overthinking?

That is a ferrite. it is to help filter high frequencies from interfering from one piece of equipment to another.

How much is important?

The filter is only required if there is a concern over conducted or radiated emissions. As regards quality of cable it does not matter.

The Uno/Mega (clones) came with a nice/fat/short/shielded USB cable.
Thick/short reduces volt drop if you draw a lot of current from the Arduino.
Some ESP32 boards I used did not work reliably with a long/thin/cheap cable because of that.
The ferrite bead is more important for the noise on shortwave radio of the neighbour.
