I'm really a beginner but I just got an Arduino Mega 2560 for Christmas. It works fine, and it's from Elegoo with the Most Complete Starter Kit. I've already gotten a seven-segment display set up and a disconnected LED. However, I have a small display I got from Amazon.
Here is the text:
3.5inch RPi Display
CE RoHS 480x320 Pixel XPT2046 Touch Controller
I have a bunch of jumper wires that came in my starter kit. Does anyone know how to connect it to the Mega 2560? Can I have a wiring diagram? Thanks in advance.
In addition, how would I be to say Hello, world through the Arduino IDE onto this screen?
Is it possible in anyway to connect it? I know that the pinholes on the display go with the Raspberry Pi GPIO, but I need a way to translate that into arduino.
I guess you don't understand what "voltage level translation problems" are. It's up to you to research the pin connections. Preferably before you buy something. I suspect not very many people have used this display with an Arduino so you might be in expert project territory.
Also, I gave you some directions, and you seemed to just gloss over them. If you don't leverage the advice you get, more advice won't help much.
The kind of answer I was expecting was like, "the display processor is a ....".
That wouldn't be enough. You need to know the identity of the display controller. Some online research might help. You'll need a map of the pins as well.
One question: What text direction is the Interface section's table in? Is it left to right and then up-to-down (like English) or is it up-to-down and then left to right?
