Connecting the UNO with the elechouse vr3 and L293 adafruit driver to move 2 motors by voice commands

I have a problem that after uploading the code and speaking the motors sometimes respond and move and sometimes not. After resetting the driver they move usually. When I connect two small TT motors they just buzz with no movement. When I connect two 6 v motors they move but after speaking about 4 to 5 commands they stop responding. The torque is weak. Advice pls

Read the forum guide and follow it. The forum can't help you much at all until you do that because there's far too little technical data in your question.

Power supply specs ?
Schematic ?

I am using 4 AA 1.5V alkaline batteries in series.
I connected the 3 boards together and got the code by AI.

Consider that the old L293 uses transistors for switching there is a loss. Your 4 batteries provide about 6 volts and your L293 will drop about 1,4 volts. That leaves your motor about 4.6 volts. There are newer and better H Bridges using MOSFETS. Just something to consider.

Cheers.
I added another battery. The motors stop responding after 4-5 attempts. Sometimes they also don’t respond to the command given and continue moving
