Control electrical MCB with arduino

Hello,

I would like to ON and OFF manual electrical MCB with arduino. I have seen few projects with servo motor but I am looking for more options to achieve this.

Please help me on this.

Do you need the device to act as an MCB or do you just want to be able to turn it on and off ?

You found solutions from other people but you want more people to have more solutions?

Here is the best one you will find:

  1. Dangerous power situation trips MCB.
  2. A mechanism holding a bucket of carrots releases.
  3. The MCB reset switch is tied to a rope.
  4. The rope goes through a pulley system to the harness of a donkey.
  5. When the donkey lowers its head to feed on the carrots, the MCB is reset.
  6. The strength of the donkey will hold the MCB ON, regardless of the danger.
  7. Facility burns to the ground.
  8. Eliminates need for the MCB-OFF-ON controller.

Or

  1. Tape.

Why would you use a safety device for this purpose? A relay would be a better choice as it would not compromise the integrity of the safety device.

I recommend checking with the manufacturer to confirm whether the safety device will function properly if the switch is held in the "on" or "off" position. If it cannot handle this, do not proceed, as it could lead to system damage in the event of an overload or fault. Prioritize the correct usage of safety components to avoid unintended risks.
