datsheet help

I was wondering if anyone had the datasheet for RadioShack's 76db piezo buzzer(http://www.radioshack.com/76db-piezo-buzzer/2730059.html#.VHtxLFDd-bk). I tried asking a customer Rep. with no luck, but he gave me another web site for the part (273-059 RadioShack | Distributors, Price Comparison, and Datasheets | Octopart).

Thank you,
popa

the "datasheet"is on the first link you gave

Used for a wide variety of applications, including alarm clocks, telephones and computers, this 76dB Piezo Buzzer operates on 6-18VDC, carrying 10mA current at 12V, with a tame buzzer tone rating of 2,800Hz.

That is all about to know about buzzers. To operate it with an Arduino you need a separate power supply, and switch it on/off with a transistor

Sometimes it helps to say what spec you are looking for and why. If you have nothing and just needed to
know voltage/current specs then there is no need to say anything. If you were looking for the frequency
there might be a reason to mention why. I assume you just wanted to know the operating specs.

Note - not because its current draw at 10 mA is beyond the capability of the Arduino, but because it is specified for a higher voltage.

My bet is however, that it would work directly connected to an Arduino pin.

Looking at "specifications" I notice:

Supported Languages: English

Sometimes more is less

Supported Languages: English

The English version powers up with
"buzz-zzzzzzzzzzzzz"

The French version would power up with
"bourdonnement-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t"

That's the problem with French, It just hasn't got that, je ne sais quoi.
