Diecimila vs Uno program?

Hi all!
Newbie here.

Found a great new Arduino project;

Have an old Diecimila here.
I was wondering if the code would still work on it ? (it shows to use the Uno)
Do I need to upgrade the chip or would it be OK as is?

The sketch only takes 6,416 byes of FLASH so it will fit fine on a Diecimila, even with a ATmega168. The maximum sketch size is 14,336.

I recommend getting an ATMEGA328 with UNO boot loader and replace the one (168) on Diecimila so you will be able to use your board as an UNO. Just a few dollars.

So dipmicro finally made sub categories for its super long IC list. I recommend getting a few to justify shipping. You can use them in stand-alone projects too.
