Doit esp32 devkit

I have a problem that after uploading to a DOIT ESP32 DEVKIT i get the message The device is a third party device but we are not sure that it is a DOIT ESP DEVKIT. (None of the other options work) There is no problem uploading but when I try to run the monitor, it tries to connect, fails and then COM4 becomes unavailable. I am not able to monitor, test and debug. My dashboards are updated but the network does not connect to the DOIT board.

Any suggestions

carl

  • I use DOIT ESP32 DEVKIT for a ESP32 based board, it works fine.

Always show us a good schematic of your proposed circuit.
Show us good images of your ‘actual’ wiring.
Give links to components.

  • What upload process do you follow ?

I used the USB cable to power the device. From what I can see on your diagram, some capacitors where used between the Vcc and gnd, which I should try. The USB cable is a bit long and it may be possible that I have some ripple on the Vcc line. The baud rate to the monitor is 19.2 kb, which is high.

Thanks for your help
