At least for the library used. Are these two libraries different?

does anyone have a fixed soltion for this line i feel like this one line is not allowing my 2 joysticks to controle my servos and i cant seem to fix this line of code

The fix is not to try and read a non existent return value from the read() function. If you want/need to ensure that the joystick value has been read then use read() in a while loop, test the value joystick within it and exit when a value has been received
