Errors with Mini and Newer versions of IDE

Hi-

Ive been programming my mini with an FTDI. It has worked fine, but the new IDE will not upload. Ive went all the way back to 0023 and it worked. Up from that I get the error "avrdude: stk500_getsync(): not in sync: resp=0x00" Has anyone had this problem? Please ask whatever questions are needed im happy to answer. Its just upsetting because I had so much trouble I ordered another FTDI only to find out it was the IDE.

Did you wire the interface for auto-reset or use manual reset?
