I've tried with NodeMCU 0.9 (worked for me before with these boards), NodeMCU 1.0, as well as generic ESP8266. Same issue every time.
Ideas?
That doesn't look like an error to me? Just reporting that once it's done updating, it does a hard reset via the RTS pin (assuming the board you're using has that rigged up) so that the sketch you uploaded starts.
