GLCD connecting to mega

I salvaged some big glcd from marine radar system. So is there any way to make it "speak" to arduino? It is like 6 inch in diagonal, has 7 SANYO LC79430, 1 OKI C7154-05, 2 HC86, and 1 HC74.

The 4 LCD.0x lines tells you it's a 4-bit interface.

Vcc - what voltage?
V0 ?
FLAME ?
0F ?

LOAD when all data have been transfered, to put onto the display. (I think)

FLAME is just connected to frame of lcd aka shield. Multimeter shows no other connection points with flame pin.

Maybe it's one of those rare occasions, when a guy who cannot pronounce r explains to another guy what that wire is.

Well, one unknown wire less then :upside_down_face:

Good luck btw with that -22 V...

Where do you see pin 1? I would expect FG to be connected to the shield.

What is the Chip on U8?
