Grow box cooling and light wattage

Greetings!
I am trying to build one of those grow boxes that basically take care of the plant inside them automatically. Mine would be a lot smaller tho. I am having trouble about two things. The most important is the wattage my grow light would have. Since the plant area would be about 35 cm x 24 cm, and the light would be placed around 50 cm above that, what do you think would be the lowest possible grow light wattage that would be fitting for such space. Been googling yes but some say its 50 watts per square foot, others 40, 30 and so on and usually don't mention how high the light is placed. The other thing is cooling. Would a normal fan do the job well enough? I've been thinking of using peltier module, but it turns out its crap so I probably won't do that.

Best regards!

Consider using LEDs, they are a lot cooler and with PWM you can control the amount of light and light schedule the plants get. You can get LED strip lights in 0.5 meter length for a few dollars at most. My best luck was with the warm white/ white light bars. They draw about 2 amps per meter or in your case about 1A. Try checking for lumens, and or LED lights that may give you a better answer.

Cooling is super simple.
A cpu fan will be enough

A vent on the top might be enough.

A larger pc fan s fine

If you use LEDs then you don't need green as plants don't absorb green light, so you reduce the power consumption and heat output.

All lamps give off heat.
Nothing requires that the heat sink or hot parts have to be in the box.

Think out of the box!

I think the led cob strip lights with usb would actually be perfect yeah. Didn't even know they existed. I just hope they don't give off too much heat. Also fan for the cooling made things so much easier. Thanks all
