Guru Meditation Error: Core 0 panic'ed (LoadProhibited). Exception was unhandled

I am trying to run a simple wifiClient example from ESP32 Thing Plus Hookup Guide - learn.sparkfun.com, I have tried even the inbuilt examples but still, I get the same output on the serial monitor. I am using a ESP32 Devkit module This is the code I used

Update:
Problem solved, i had the wrong board selected, they both have similar names

First thing I would do is eliminate any empty wait loops, like this one:

    while (digitalRead(BUTTON_PIN) == LOW)
      ; //

The ESPs have watchdogs, and if you tie up the processor for more than a few mSec without releasing control back to the "OS", it WILL throw a watchdog error. Adding ANY delay to that loop (even delayMicroseconds(1) will allow the watchdog to be reset.

I am sorry, that was not the problem, I had the wrong board selected, both the boards had similar names
