ESP32-C3 Guru Meditation Error: Core 0 panic'ed (Instruction access fault)

I try to run a matter example (MatterCommissionTest.ino) on a ESP32-C3 super mini. I have done all the recommanded settings : Huge APP, Erase all flash, etc. But the board always reboot with the error message "Guru Meditation Error: Core 0 panic'ed (Instruction access fault). Exception was unhandled."

I don't see anything else in the full verbose log that can help me find the problem. Do you have any idea?

If you followed arduino-esp32/libraries/Matter/examples/MatterCommissionTest at 3.3.7 · espressif/arduino-esp32 · GitHub to the letter and are running the verbatim test sketch, then you've fund a bug. File it in https://github.com/espressif/arduino-esp32/issues

All the log indicates is that it's attempting to jump to a nullpointer (0x00000000). To further decode the error message, you must use https://github.com/dankeboy36/esp-exception-decoder/tree/1.1.1.

In order to make relevant information available to any who are interested in this subject, I'll share a link to the formal bug report @serge_t submitted to the developers of the "esp32" boards platform:

The issue has been investigated and for now the conclusion is:
"No... it also crashes after commissioning... we will have to create a new Arduino Core release in order to fix it."
So I will wait for the next update and try it again ;)
