HDMI screen

Hello,

I recently stripped a few printers at work and got a screen off of one of them,

It's not just any normal screen, it has a few quirks im trying to iron out and hoped you guys could help, quick background this is a touch screen with two control panels, there is no additional data cable from the screen to the printers main board, after a night of tireless "research" I've found HDMI-CEC, what I assume is being used to transfer data from the panel to the printer. Pin out on the screens cpu board from the HDMI connector is as follows, pins 1 - 12 go straight to the screen output connector on the board, pins 13(CEC) and 17(CEC Ground) go to a CY8C24894 56-Pin PSoC Device(https://www.cypress.com/file/140926/download) and pin 15 and 16 go to a hex schmitt inverter (MC74VHCT14A), pin 18(+5v) and 19(hot plug detect) are connected at the input connector.

I don't want to do anything fancy I just want the screen to display, I read somewhere that you need to return a device id (and i assume resolution specs of some sort which would normally be hard coded to the printers main board) on the Hot plug detect pin.

The screen powers on and is working(I hope), I just can't seem to get any of my devices to detect or display to it.

Thanks in advance.

EDIT: I figured out that I'm going to need to make a EDID inserter to make it display, the screen it has in: https://www.sharpsde.com/products/displays/model/LQ084S3LG03/
