So basically i am not really into screens, but today i had to start dealing with them.
I have one project, that uses 135x240 Lcd with st7789v2 controller, but it is quite not the size that i need to use. So i found 240x280 TFT LCD, that uses st7789v3.
And finally question is, can i just re-solder new screens to older ones place. And if not, what should i seek for to find replaceble one?
I am not sure that understood you correct, but If you simply replace 135x240 screen with 240х280 , the new one won't work until you rewrite the software.
And on above I did not even take into account the fact that the connection of the new display may not match the old one.
Please provide links to all the datasheets. Hand-draw the wiring, label any non-obvious parts and post a photo of the drawing.
The following needs a LOT more explaining.
