Header Pins element for a Shield @ Eagle files

Hi all,

I'm designing a pcb which will be used as a Shield, so in top of an Arduino Uno. I've found an Arduino Uno template for Eagle and the location for soldering pads to attach on the SArduino are already on place. However I'd like to add my own male header pins to connect cables (LCD display, buttons, etc). Does somebody know which kind of part should I look for? I've found some parts on the Sparkfun libraries, but I don't know exactly what I need and they have a wide variety.

Also, on a more practical matter: Is there any special technique to solder those pins?, some of them should be soldered from the top and some of them from the bottom. On the attempts I've done so far I find it difficult to solder them in a way that the plastic guide can sit perfectly on the board. I wonder if it would be easier to get the PCB done for me...

Thanks in advance

library con-ltsa (female headers), con-ltsb (male headers)

The Sparkfun library probably has them too.

Awesome, thanks!

For header pin holes I use Sparkfun's M0x series.

So use EAGLE's search for "M08*" and "M06*" to get all of the options available.

Watch the pad sizes too - some are long & oblong, others are smaller octagons.
