How do I check if an arduino is recieving power? (the power is sourced from a jumper cable connected to a 12v 7ah battery)

Sorry for no image, or no real clear interpretation, but if there are any indications that the arduino has power from a battery (connected via several different cables), that would be helpful, thank you.
