Hello,
I am writing this letter to get help, from a time ago i wanted to test the RTC module with Arduino UNO R3 but my fault when i put the 3.3 v battery in the module and connect the Arduino to external power and the power from phone thats came from OTG cable, that give the Arduino extra voltage ,and i looked to the arduino the ON led was light up high and the Atmega was rising the temperature and getting hot and the smile of burning in the Atmega, then i i removed everything from it ,nex
When i reconnect it again , i found that the Arduino "ON" led blinking and the other LEDs not lighting the the rest button not working and in the computer doesn't showing like Arduino just "Unknown device"
Other information , when i connect the Arduino to lower power from extranale power the ON led blinking , and when i conncet it to 12v AC/Dc adapter the led light up so hight and stop blinking , and no physical damage show on the board , witch compoment can do this problem? And can reburn boot loader fix it? Can i buy ITEaduino its chep than the UNo with 62.5%?.thank you
Welcome to the forum
Which version of the IDE are you using ?
Hello , thanks for repley,
My Arduino is completely not read by the computer or android is just "Unknown device "and it say in The device manger device not started how the version of IDE help if the computer doesn't recognize the board
I used the LAST VER IN DEC 2024 not working
And Arduino Droid say that no board is connceted
I assume that English is not your native language as your posts are difficult to follow. What is your native language and are you writing your posts yourself or are you using something like Google translate to translate them into English ? It usually does quite a good job
I'm afraid that the 328P is malfunctioning / has died.
Was that only the Arduino? To what did you connect it? PC?
That might be caused by over current; e.g. the 328P (or something else) is drawing too much current because it's damaged.
Does it show "unknown device" or does the PC not recognise it at all? Anyway this would indicate that the serial-to-usb converter is malfunctioning / has died.
My advice would be to buy a new board.
It's not clear to me what the voltage of the external power supply is (12V ?) and to to which pin you connected it.
RTC moudle of the real time and i placed the 3.3v battey on it , and connect it to the Arduino ,then i connect Arduino with a 12 v adapter , and i conncet the Arduino to my phone with a OTG cable (micro usb to normal usb input ) because i use a android sketch app for progaraming
,that mean the Arduino reseved the power from the 12v adapter and from the module 3.3v and the power witch come from the OTG cable
Can i get a colone of Arduino like ETaduino its a cheap like the price of bootloader
No idea what an ETduino is. Just be careful when you buy from China; there seems to be a lot of crap coming from there nowadays if I must believe the forum; use a seller with a good rating and good return policy.
Its just colone of Arduino and i cannot buy from internet , i have found it in the same store that i have bought the Arduino kit from it
