How to connect a Headphone jack and a Speaker with PAM 8302A

Hi everyone,
I have a PAM8302, a headphone jack - Breadboard-Friendly 3.5mm Stereo Headphone Jack : ID 1699 : $0.95 : Adafruit Industries, Unique & fun DIY electronics and kits, and a mini oval speaker (8 ohm and 1 watt) - Mini Oval Speaker with Short Wires - 8 Ohm 1 Watt : ID 4227 : $1.95 : Adafruit Industries, Unique & fun DIY electronics and kits
I need to connect them to Arduino Micro.
I am a complete beginner in electronics. How should I connect them together?

My goal is to let the Micro play audio through the speaker but when I plug in my headphone, it plays through the headphone.

I am not sure which pin should go with which. Do I need any capacitors or resistors?

Thank you very much.

The PAM8302 description states it is a mono amplifier, not a stereo amplifier. A single speaker cannot play stereo sound. The headphone jack also states it is made to switch stereo sound when a stereo plug is inserted.

No where is any microcomputer of any use.

If you have a stereo amplifier, a stereo audio source, and wire TWO speakers through the jack pins correctly, the sound will be transferred to your headphones when you plug them into the jack.

Time to study the item descriptions a bit more.

Good luck, and somewhere you will find a use for the micro.
