I want drive 4 pin hdd motor with 12V but I can't solve.
No IC, driver,ESC.
except there ne555,74hc595,CD4051
It works but it doesn't spin all the time.

Can you a picture of the 4-pin motor?
Hi @TomGeorge,
I search and I try but same. ![]()
Same what?
What can't you solve?
Do you have a DMM? (Digital MultiMeter)
If so use it in its OHMs range and work out which wires are the windings.
You do know how a hard drive motor is constructed?
This may help.

I have Digital Multimeter. Of course I trying. But can't drive hdd motor I write this forum.
How to find wraps? High value or vlow value?
The resistance should be relatively low, below 1K or 500R even.
You need to systematically measure the resistance between the many combinations of pairs you can.

2 pin 1.4R ohm 2 pin 2.1R ohm
You can drive the HDD motor with a RC BL speedcontroller, just connect the 3 "star" wires and leave the center wire unconnected.
No driver
@TomGeorge no work this hdd is same
Please Clearify: "You do not have a driver" (go get one) or "You do not want to use a driver" (wont't work no matter what you do)
You need to measure all pin combination, not just 2:
A to B = ? Ohm
A to C = ? Ohm
A to D = ? Ohm
B to C = ? Ohm
B to D = ? Ohm
C to D = ? Ohm
A driver is required.
2.4
2.4
1.6
All is same
Could you please replace the "?" with the values you measured?
A to B = ? Ohm
A to C = ? Ohm
A to D = ? Ohm
B to C = ? Ohm
B to D = ? Ohm
C to D = ? Ohm
A to B = 2.4 Ohm
A to C = 2.4 Ohm
A to D = 1.6 Ohm
B to C = 2.4 Ohm
B to D = 2.4 Ohm
C to D = 1.6 Ohm
Bad luck. Again, get a RC BL speedcontroller, connect 3 wires, try if it runs. You have only 4 possibilities, 3 wrong, one right.
Recheck B to D.
If same as A to D and C to D, then D is the common connection of the three coils, A, B, C being the individual other ends.
