How to interface led matrix 8x8 to Arduino using 2 74HC595?

As i say above, I have a 8x8 led matrix and 2 74HC595 (one for row control, and the other for column control), can anyone tell me how can I interface to this matrix with arduino? (I mean the schematic, and how to program it)
