Can a Simonk 30A ESC ( 0x1E9307) make an brushless motor go foward and reverse without flashing on AVRdude or kkmulticopterflashtool?
Is it possible, and is it achieved, with a flashing tool ?
We have tried with Microchip Studio but didnt work, but at least we found out that our ESC have a Atmega8.
You can find some videos that show using kkmulticopter or AVRdude like:
But they dont work on our computers.
this is done either with a special card or radio control equipment (you can write a sketch) look in Google for how to set the reverse mode, then at PWM=1500 there will be 0 revolutions, at PWM=2000 the maximum CW revolutions, PWM=1000 the maximum CCW revolutions
Frist do you have a bi-directional electronic speed controller?
Next,
Now the ESCs only spin in one direction but our teacher said that if we flash it they could became bi-directional
the regulator is not stitched, the regulator is configured, through the PWM port !!!
Update: We uploaded the original ESC firmware
(GitHub - rovy2023/Simonk-ESC-30A-Atmega8-)
It still only moving in one direction and we couldnt found anything to change the original firmware to make it bi-directional.
There is a firmware version without reverse, I didn’t know about such, here from 15:15 just about this speech
We did flash it but the problem is that none of the firmwares that posted didnt fit in on our ESC, after searching through kirby's firwares none was like ours
